Four Jetstar cabin crew members were hospitalized after an “unusual smell” was reported on a flight from the Gold Coast to Cairns. After the plane landed and passengers disembarked, a crew member began to feel faint around 9:30 am. Another crew member supported her to prevent a fall, according to the airline. Queensland Ambulance reported that the crew experienced nausea and headaches, likely due to exposure to fumes on the aircraft. All four staff members were in stable condition when transported to the hospital. The staff had noted an “unusual smell” coming from the cabin before the incident.
