Netflix to be removed from dozens of Sony BRAVIA TV models

Netflix is set to disappear from dozens of Sony television models, all of which are over a decade old. Effective July 24, this change will impact 37 Sony BRAVIA television models in the Asia Pacific region, including Australia. Sony stated, “The Netflix app will no longer be supported on certain 2014 BRAVIA televisions from July 24, 2024.”Until this date, the app will continue to function. However, Netflix can still be streamed on these models using a supported streaming device such as Google Chromecast, Apple TV, or Amazon Fire TV Stick.
