At Westmead Hospital in Sydney, a man allegedly went on a violent rampage, stabbing security guards and injuring a nurse.

A man is under police guard after allegedly rampaging through a Western Sydney hospital and injuring four staff members.

Police were called to Westmead Hospital around 11:30 p.m. on Friday night after reports of a 39-year-old man assaulting staff.

Upon arrival, officers found two security guards, aged 24 and 25, with stab wounds, another security guard with a dislocated shoulder, and a 29-year-old male nurse with minor injuries.
