Families are set to receive a boost to certain Centrelink payments from the new financial year due to indexation.

Starting July 1, over 2 million Australians will receive a boost to their government payments. Families and pensioners will benefit from this increase, which is due to routine indexation. Around 1.3 million people receiving family payments, including the Family Tax Benefit, Newborn Supplement, and Multiple Birth Allowance, will see their payments increase.
