The ASIC document stipulates that financial advice licensees providing personal advice to retail clients will be levied a minimum amount of $1,500, plus $2,878 per adviser. Licensees providing general advice only will pay a levy of $2,721, while those providing personal advice to wholesale clients only will pay $976.
The Australian Securities and Investments Commission (ASIC) has released its levy costs for 2023-24.
