Yesterday, the Central Highlands Council approved the planning for a 300-megawatt, 47-turbine wind farm at St Patricks Plains in Tasmania’s Central Highlands. The No Turbine Action Group has criticized the process as a “farce.” Lawyer Dominica Tannock told Leon Compton on Tasmania Mornings that she wants the council’s decision “quashed” and is ready to take the issue to the Supreme Court.
