After winning the first set, the Australian pair Tom Hodges and Zach Schubert built an 18-14 lead in the second, only to see France’s Remy Bassereau and Julien Lyneel power back to have a set point at 20-19.

However, the Aussies saved it and clinched a 22-20 victory in the second set, winning their first match and qualifying for the lucky loser round.
