Aldi’s sweet treat that shoppers are eagerly stocking up on.

Aussie sweet lovers are buzzing over an $8 treat from the German supermarket chain Aldi, with many comparing it to a popular British candy.

Katja Biggetjes, introduced at Aldi as part of their Special Buys Dutch Week, are priced at $7.99. However, many shoppers are likening them to the British favorite, Percy Pig.

‘These are my favorite. I always stock up on several bags, then get sad when I eat them all like the pig I am and wish I’d bought more,’ one social media user shared.

Another added, ‘Just like M&S Percy Pigs.’

‘I love these! Last year, I bought six or so packets to last the year,’ a third user commented.

‘Dammit. I used to love these lollies. Why is life TESTING me,’ another lamented.
