The troubled airline Rex may face a prolonged search for a buyer as administrators seek an extension from the court. Over three weeks into voluntary administration, the financially struggling regional carrier continues to look for a buyer despite interest from various parties. While Rex’s fleet of Boeing 737s, which serviced major metropolitan routes, has been grounded under the management of EY Australia, regional flights are still operational.
