Woolworths is preparing to reduce the prices of over 450 essential items across its stores.

Woolworths is set to lower the prices of over 450 products as part of its spring program.

Starting Wednesday, prices will be reduced by up to 23% on items including meat, dairy, snacks, pantry staples, salad dressings, and cleaning products.

Some popular items affected include Woolworths RSPCA Approved Chicken Wings, which will drop to $7 from $9; Woolworths Beef Sizzle Schnitzel, reduced to $10 from $12; and Dettol Multipurpose Cleaner Surface Spray Disinfectant Citrus, now $3.50 down from $7.
