Singapore will be Western Sydney’s first international carrier.

Western Sydney International Airport (WSI) has announced its first international carrier as it prepares to open in two years. Singapore Airlines (SIA) will operate non-stop flights from WSI to Singapore Changi Airport starting in 2026, following a 2023 memorandum of understanding between WSI and SIA.

Currently, the announcement only includes mainline Singapore Airlines passenger services, with no confirmation yet from low-cost subsidiary Scoot or its cargo division. Last year, Qantas and Jetstar became WSI’s first two airlines to announce domestic services.
