The 2025 Audi Q5 has been unveiled, offering a choice of petrol or diesel engines with mild-hybrid technology. According to Audi’s current naming strategy, even-numbered models are transitioning to electric platforms, while odd-numbered models like the Q5 will continue to feature traditional internal combustion engines.
While Australian specifications will be confirmed closer to the start of local deliveries, the Q5 is available internationally with three engine options: a 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder petrol engine producing 140kW and 340Nm with either front- or all-wheel drive, a 2.9-liter turbo-diesel four-cylinder generating 150kW and 400Nm with all-wheel drive, and a 3.0-liter turbocharged V6 petrol engine delivering 270kW and 500Nm, exclusively for the range-topping SQ5 model.
