This feature is currently available on iOS 17.3 and later versions, and it helps safeguard your personal information by preventing unauthorized access in the event of an iPhone being stolen.

To activate Stolen Device Protection on your iPhone for enhanced security, follow these four simple steps:

Enabling Stolen Device Protection prompts additional security measures for accessing certain private data when your iPhone is not in a recognized location. Authentication through Face ID, Touch ID, or a Security Delay is required to access sensitive information, such as stored credit cards or saved passwords. Moreover, actions like changing the Apple ID password trigger a Security Delay, with a wait time of up to an hour followed by a secondary biometric verification.
